HOT SUMMER NIGHTS 2025 Artists — This One’s for You!

Red River Cultural District has teamed up with Marshall and Gold Rush Vinyl to drop something BIG: introducing the Gold Record Club — a brand new opportunity just for this year’s festival performers!

ONE lucky performance / artist group who rocked HOT SUMMER NIGHTS 2025 will get their original music pressed onto 250 custom vinyl records — all yours to share, sell, or spin!

Here’s the twist:
A community-powered jury will narrow it down to the Top 5 acts, then the public gets to vote for the ultimate winner!

So get ready — and apply today! Artist applications close on August 26th at 10 PM CST.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

• ONE Representative from your artist group should submit this application. Please DO NOT submit multiple applications for one artist group.
• Performance / Artist Group MUST have played a show at 2025 Hot Summer Nights July 24-25-26
• Audio files mastered for vinyl with sides no longer than 22 min
• All Audio files must be original songs, no covers
• Artists must have the ability to set up their own artwork in the specified templates and within the required parameters. All information on this can be found via our FAQs https://www.goldrushvinyl.com/faqs (only difference is it says 21 min per side but 22 is MAX).
• Performance / Artist Groups

1. Be ready to go with art / audio based on the timeline below otherwise it would affect the release date (including vinyl color selection)
2. Have a turntable or the ability to listen to their test pressings
3. Have one point of contact from the band who will work with us through the process on approvals etc.

PROCESS

• August 19, 2026 at 10:00 AM CST: Artist applications opens
• August 26, 2025 at 10:00 PM CST: Artist application deadline
• August 27, 2025:  Jury of community and venue representatives will meet to select the top 5 performance / artist groups
• August 28, 2025: Notification to top 5 performance/artists groups
• August 28, 2025: Community voting begins
• September 5, 2025: Community voting closes
• September 9, 2025: Winner Announced
• September 12, 2025: Art work, order form, and audio due
• September 12, 2025: Order form submitted with payment / audio / art to gold rush
• September 19, 2025: Approve Art
• September 26, 2025 : Shortlist Test Pressings
• October 3, 2025:  Test Pressings Approved
• October 24, 2025:  All print arrives at Gold Rush
• October 31, 2025:  Order shortlisted
• November 14, 2025:  Ready for Pick Up
