Funding Distribution Application
We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic. This round, Banding Together ATX has secured disaster relief funds to support musicians and live performance artists who are still struggling financially.
Based on the current and most urgent needs of our community, this round of funding will be disbursed via HEB grocery gift cards of denominations of $75.
Submitted applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis until this round of funding is exhausted. The criteria for receiving funding are the following:
1. Be 18 years of age or older
2. Be a musician or a live performance artist
3. Reside in the Greater Austin Area (Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, and Williamson Counties)
4. Lost employment, performance opportunities and/or earned income as a direct result of the COVID-19 Pandemic
This form is intended exclusively for internal purposes. Your information will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned, or otherwise disclosed.
You will receive an email confirming that your application has been submitted. Applications will be processed by RRCD staff within 10-15 business days of grant application closure. Phase Five Applications close by 11:59pm Thursday, November 25th, 2021.
Submitting an application does not guarantee that you will receive fund benefits. Benefits are limited to one per individual at this time. We anticipate more applications than we can accommodate so if you do not receive any benefit this round, please stay engaged with RRCD by checking our website and following our social channels for regular updates.
We anticipate this to be the final round of disaster relief reacted to the pandemic. We would like to thank everyone who has donated for their support in this crisis – YOU made a difference!! By the end of this grant, over 3,500 individuals will have been served through $255,000 in disaster relief grants that directed help to our music community in need during these difficult past couple years.
The fundraising and grant management processes are being managed by the Red River Cultural District (RRCD), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. While our organization focuses primarily on district efforts related to downtown Austin, affected individuals in these sectors across the greater Austin-area are encouraged to apply.
